Addidas samba black suade no stripes9/5/2023 It goes away in about a week, in my experience. Like all Sambas, they squeak when I walk. When I compare the leather on my Sambas to the Stan Smiths I bought a few weeks ago, the Sambas are miles ahead. I think the quality is incredible for that. I hate this term, but it really pops off the dark navy.Īdidas almost always has a 20% off coupon floating around and they offer free shipping/returns on their site, so it's pretty easy to pick these up for around fifty bucks. I'm glad they went with bright, pure white for the stripes/heel on these rather than the off-white/cream of the red suede pair. It almost seems oiled, or more like roughout suede. Adidas trainers such as the Jeans, Rom, Samba, Gazelle, Spezial remain flavour of the moment. A popular brand with endless heritage key to customer’s a brand for casual dressing days. The leather has a lot less nap than my red pair. adidas Originals trainers an extensive unique range sold via 80s Casual Classics home to retro old skool classic adidas. Sambas have a flat, low-volume toe box, so if you have a wide forefoot or your big toe turns up at the end (like mine does), I recommend going up a half-size like I did. I measure 12.5 on the Brannock and wear a 13 in Sambas (same as in Nikes). I'm hoping the soles get dirtier and darker with some wear. On the other hand, I typically prefer soles that don't stand out quite so much. On one hand, there's definitely more visual contrast between the really dark navy and tan sole than there would be with a darker brown sole. The gumsole is obviously quite a bit lighter and yellower than the previous versions, and I'm torn about it. Some quick thoughts and first impressions. Sambas are one of my favorite cheap sneakers, so when Adidas brought out new gumsole versions in navy and grey suede for this spring, I decided to pick up a pair.
